The purpose of the Lil Roughnecks (U7) and U9 program is to introduce, emphasize and develop the fundamentals of the skills and game of lacrosse.  The focus of practices as well as games is to promote an environment that encourages participation, skill development, team work and the overall enjoyment of the game of lacrosse.

At the end of the season there a special "Lil Roughnecks U7 Festival"  held where all teams within the City come together to play one another in a fun and festive setting.

Throughout the season, in order to encourage the development of this environment, there will be no standings for the Lil Roughnecks (U7) Division.  "RO" will be displayed in place of a game score to show a game has been played.  Please take note that although no formal standings are kept for the 6U Division, standard game result procedures must still be followed (sending in the game sheets after each game).
